Our Rooms

Our four individually designed rooms — Y Fferws, Y Llwchwr, Y Cennen, and Yr Aman — are named after local rivers near the bed and breakfast. Each room is thoughtfully appointed to a high standard with quality fixtures, furnishings, and fittings. Enjoy luxurious 400-thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen and plush towels.

All en-suites feature excellent showers:

  • Y Llwchwr offers a spacious wet room

  • Y Cennen has a modern shower

  • Y Fferws and Yr Aman combine the best of both worlds with a large bath and a Victorian-style shower over it

Each bathroom includes a heated towel rail, a light-sensored mirror with a built-in shaver socket and demister pad, and Myddfai toiletries sourced locally from a respected social enterprise.

Sumptuous heavy curtains fully lined with blackout material complement the cushions and runners in each room, creating a cozy, restful atmosphere.

The accommodation has been sympathetically refurbished and furnished to reflect the late Georgian period and the building’s history while offering modern comforts for discerning guests.

Rooms Y Fferws, Y Llwchwr, and Yr Aman are on the first floor, while Y Cennen is on the ground floor with only one step into the bedroom for easy access.

Booking Direct

Book directly with us to guarantee the best rates. Reservations can be made securely online or by phone. We also offer a discount for returning guests.

We accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments.

Arrival and Departure

  • Check-in: From 3:00 pm onwards. Please provide your estimated arrival time and notify us by phone, text, or email if you’re delayed or arriving late.

  • Check-out: Rooms must be vacated by 10:30 am on the day of departure.

Deposit Policy

A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is required to confirm your booking. The deposit will be taken 1 day prior to arrival, so please ensure your card details are valid at the time of booking. Payments can be made by credit or debit card.

Cancellation Policy

As a small independent business, cancellations can significantly impact us. We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen and will do our best to be flexible and helpful.

  • No charge for cancellations made more than 1 day prior to arrival.

  • For cancellations within 1 day of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable unless we re-let the room(s). If re-let, the deposit will be refunded minus a £20 administration fee.

  • Alternatively, your deposit can be applied to a future stay if booked within six months of cancellation.

  • No-shows will be charged the full cost of the reservation.

Pets and Smoking

  • We kindly ask guests not to bring pets.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the bed and breakfast, including the use of candles or similar items in the rooms.
